FLIEHENDE STÜRME
Lunaire... spielt mit dem Licht
CD
The seventh disc of FLIEHENDE STÜRME drifts musically and lyrically a little further apart than the last two albums "Himmel Steht Still" and "Licht Vergeht". And that's good news! Finally, it covers a wider range, although each song is very typical of the band and usually combines old school punk with (dark) wave. As usual, guitar walls and melancholic synth pads combined with the voice of Andreas Löhr fill the room with beautiful and dark sounds. There are quiet, introverted, dark ballad-like tracks like "Behind Glass" and "Hole In The Sky" (including Whale Sang!) On the disc, as well as relatively typical songs like the goosebumping title track "Lunaire Playing With The Light "For many fans, the joy may be great that two new songs are on the record that remind of CHAOS Z." Bacteria "speaks lyrically a very clear language:" On the way to work a Nazi pig ... bacteria and shapes are everywhere ... German is good and everyone is Pope, and they are so happy that I'm not sober ... "while" Ex-Ist "comes across musically very brutal and punky. Fliehende StÌrme have brought out as usual a very good disc, which convinces not only by the consequent drifting in its own, unmistakable, atmospherically dense universe, but also by some musical and textual surprises.
