SUFFERING MIND/ GUANTANAMO PARTY PROGRAM
Split
7"
Here's another recent Halo Of Flies release I've been meaning to review and post, but kept putting off for one reason or another until now (Curse you work!!!). Suffering Mind is a killer hardcore, punk, powerviolence, grindcore band from Lublin, Poland who formed in 2009. Suffering Mind play a scathing and ultra-brutal style of music that melds together elements of hardcore, punk, crust, powerviolence, and grindcore within their sound. On their side of the split Suffering Mind offer up three tracks of raw, scathing and ultra-negative music. Guantanamo Party Program is a four piece band from Wroclaw, Poland who formed in 2007. Guantanamo Party Program play a killer style of music that seamlessly melds elements of experimental post hardcore, doom and sludge within their sound. On their side of the split, Guantanamo Party Program offer up one song of sludgey post hardcore that will appeal to fans of Eyehategod and The Alaskan. Overall, this is a phenomenal split and each band offers up top notch material for this release. Highly recommended!
