Terveet KÀdet, established by LÀjÀ ÄijÀlÀ, called it quits in 2016 after nearly four decades of being active, but luckily opinions change and decisions can also be unmade. Svart Records are proud to release the band’s new album Kaikki kaikkia vastaan (translates to All against all) on March 3rd, 2023. According to ÄijÀlÀ the comeback has been brewing in the back of his head for a long time now. After some gigs with the newly resurrected band the new songs began to pop up little by little. Kaikki kaikkia vastaan is a brutal album. It combines elements of metal from the band’s alter ego Lapin Helvetti and the more traditional explosive thrash and hardcore of TK. The album’s themes and lyrics deal with dark and twisted topics of modern society. -“We’re a band from Northern Finland. The album title, song titles and lyrics together sum up the modern worldview. Kaikki kaikkia vastaan is 16 songs of reduced angst”, ÄijÀlÀ adds. Since its establishment in 1979 Terveet KÀdet has toured around the world, gained a cult status and a lot of fans worldwide from the members of Sepultura to Mike Patton. In honor of the band’s 40th anniversary Svart Records put together a five-vinyl box set of their material from the ‘80s, which is now sold out.
