The Filthy

Started in 2009 by (past and present) members of DARKALL SLAVES, TREPAN’DEAD and Purify, UNSU worked hard to write and record their debut demo, “Moral Distortion”, and make it a very personal release putting the band on the Grindcore map upon release, adding to their Northern-influenced (read: Rotten Sound, Nasum, Gadget…) touches of Brutal Death Metal and Hardcore. Touring Europe (2011) and releasing their debut split 7” with France’s ATARA (2011) resulted in having the name starting to spread like blood on your face after a high-kick right in the nose. Now signed to KAOTOXIN, UNSU release their debut MCD, “The Filthy”, featuring five brand new studio tracks, among which a Nasum cover version, and no less than twelve bonus live songs for a total of 26 punishing minutes of modern and in-your-face Grindcore. Right in time for the release, the band embark for a headlining UK tour with Merciless Precision while starting the writing process for their forthcoming debut full-length which is planned for mid-2014.
